#SV2K24 – Sports Vacances League


 



These laws must govern throughout all Sports Vacances sessions, friendlies and competitions throughout the year. To be modified only 12 months after its adoption. Any person or player who fails to comply with the basic requirements and refuses to follow/respect these rules will be suspended and, if in serious circumstances, banned and to no longer participate in the showdown.

The Rules of Football - (Whether it's street football, home football…anywhere. We will abide by these rules…because without them we are like wild lunatics, and we won't play football/soccer anymore).

 

NB: These rules apply to all teams and the context of the tournament; the number of outfield players will depend on the type and size of the tournament. This will be agreed and included in these rules; but no more than 11 players per team may/should occupy the field of play. Any team found with more than 11 players will be sanctioned, and in cases where they have played more than 15 minutes or scored one or more goals during, before and after this period, shall automatically lose the match in favor of their opponents.

 

  1. The field of play and entering and leaving the game (the margins for which the field has been designed must be respected by all players… in the event of a corner kick, penalty kick or goalkeeper).


- Refusing to hand over the ball to the opposing team in the event of a loss due to exceeding the limit of play, “the guilty verdict of the player(s) is a yellow card.

  2. Player Equipment (All players must wear or be dressed in the appropriate athletic attire. Therefore, this entails, putting on a designated team kit/jersey for the tournament, and this must carry the necessary information as stipulated by the organizing committee which are; Emblem(s) and Logo(s) of tournament and sponsor(s) if any, jersey number(s), from the upper body to shorts/trousers. No player will be permitted on the field in unsportsmanlike attire. Examples of non-athletic footwear. authorized; - Italian shoes, Sebago, dance shoes, ALL BRANDS OF SNEAKERS not SYNTHETIC, etc.


- As a result of not meeting the Player Equipment Requirements (PER), the guilty verdict is a yellow card, and the player is substituted.

 

  1. Duration of match (All matches shall be governed by the football principles of 45 minutes per half. Unless otherwise specified, matches shall not be less than 30 minutes per half).


- Accordingly, any player who disrupts the start or end time of the game with his personal vendetta is GUILTY and has the verdict of a red card.

  1. FAULTS AND DIFFICULTIES (This is the basis of these rules. ALL PLAYERS MUST COMPLY WITH THESE RULES/LAWS). Fouls in this case are acts clearly seen and judged by most players, on and off the pitch, including public opinion, namely unsportsmanlike behavior and behavior exhibited by another player on the pitch while playing.   1. FOUL CONDUCT - BEHAVIOR(S) OF UNSPORTSMSHIP In case of misconduct such as;

As a consequence of being “guilty” of any of the MISCELLANEOUS ERRORS, the player(s)/coach(s)/team representative will serve a-2 game ban and a XAF5,000 fine;

  1. CARDS


Yellow card(s): A fine of 1,000XAF.

- 2 consecutive yellow cards in consecutive and back-to-back matches will not result in a one-match ban for the player, but rather a fine of 1,00frs excluding the initial sanction above.

- 5 yellow cards automatically correspond to a ban of 1 match, without fine.

Red card(s): A fine of 2,000XAF with a 1 match ban. Persistent collection of red cards will result in the player being expelled from the competition. If you accumulate 5 red cards during the competition, the player will be suspended and will be subject to disciplinary action at the next meeting.

  1. DEFEND


A defender is found guilty and given a yellow card when they are found inside the goal box while the ball is in opposition half or beyond midfield.

All players defending their respective goals should do so, as long as they are not in the area provided for this purpose, without entering the square, until the ball is played in their court.

 

  1. PENALTY


Any intentional or unintentional handling of the ball by a defending player in the designated area surface; judged by the referee as faulty play, constitutes a penalty. This foul play is followed by a yellow card, or a red card as judged by the referee.

Additionally, if this action was deemed an intentional violation of play, further sanctions could follow; as such by the match official or committee.

  1. SUBSTITUTION


A maximum of 7 substitutions are allowed during a game.

A player/substitute is NOT ALLOWED to enter the pitch without the knowledge of the referee, and it is expected that, before the substitute can enter the field, the player to be removed must be completely replaced. If both players are found on the pitch, a yellow card is shown to both players and the substitution is made correctly.

Furthermore, a substituted player IS NOT ALLOWED to re-enter the field after being substituted. If this happens, A RED CARD will be awarded to the player.

  1. LICENSES


All teams and players are expected to show their licenses prior to kickoff, and these licenses will be strictly monitored by the match officials accompanied by a member of the organizing committee to ensure that irregularities are minimized.

  • Player Licenses cost 2,000XAF/player

  • Absence of a player to show their license before kickoff will mean the player is unallowed to participate.

  • In case(s) of license loss, the player can retrieve a copy of their license at an extra cost of 2,000XAF.

  • Any attempt to fraud a license will result in the player being banned from participating in the championship for at least a year.

  • All complete licenses for team players must be submitted before the game and recollected immediately after the game by various teams involved.



  1. TEAMS


All teams are expected to have a list of at least 11 players and not more than 20 players for the tournament. A team is free to recruit a new talent given that this talent is not already part of a team, as this will require a transfer fee and commission only possible after the first five matches.

  1. TRANSFERS/MERCATO:


Players are allowed to move from one team to another given that they are valued and purchased accordingly as per the rules of this competition. Nevertheless, transfers, loans, etc. are only allowed after the first half of the competition (5 matches at least), and this is done following the valorization of the player and the championship committee.

  • In case the player wants or intends to leave as a free agent, a commission fee nevertheless is paid to the championship organization to rescind their license(s) and prepare their transfer into their new team. This, nonetheless, does not exempt the transferred player from paying an extra 2000 XAF for their new license.



  1. PLAYER VALUE:


All players in this year’s Sports Vacances showdown are subjected to being valued by the teams and captains. Player values range from 10,000 XAF to 55,000 XAF throughout the entire competition. When discussing transfer negotiations, we must look into the initial value of the player before confirming the transfer commission which stands at 23% of the value amount sold/purchased the player for. This transfer commission is then received by the championship organizing commission which is in turn used to strengthen the competition proper.

  1. PLAYER/TEAM RESIGNATION/RETIREMENT:


All/any player or team is allowed to retire or resign from the championship at no extra cost. However, they shall not be entitled to any refund or claim(s), not to the organizing commission or the championship in itself.

  1. PLAYER SUSPENSION OR DISMISSAL:


All forms of violence as judged by the organizing commission is/are subjected to a player being suspended or utterly dismissed from the competition. The organizing commission holds exclusive authority to either suspend or dismiss a player.
